| Program scope: | Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) Program 124 credits total; 68 credits in nursing courses and 56 in general education courses.
RN to BSN Degree Program 56 general education pre-requisite credits plus 33 credits of nursing courses and the awarding of 35 credits for experiential learning. |
| Class location: | Nursing courses are taught at the College of Nursing; general education courses are taught at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College or other accredited colleges/universities. |
| Clinical locations: | Clinical rotations (for BSN traditional and Diploma programs) vary to ensure the best possible learning experience. Our evidence-based clinicals are a highlight of the college and encompass more than 900 hours over the length of the degree program. Clinical sites include magnet-award-winning hospitals: Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital; also Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center, Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital, Bon Secours Care-a-Van; Bon Secours Employee Wellness, Bon Secours Family Centers, and other strategic sites throughout the area. |
