
RN to BSN: admission criteria
Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing enrolls students twice a year. The RN to BSN program is open to licensed registered nurses with atleat one year experience upon enrollment.
- Admission is open to licensed registered nurses with at least 1 year of RN experience upon enrollment.
- The minimum cumulative grade point average for admission is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for the required general education course work and a grade of "C" or better in each of those required pre-requisite general education courses. - Completion of all required pre-requisite general education courses (56 credits) prior to enrollment.
- Possess an unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia. (Admissions will verify licensure with the Virginia Board of Health Professions prior to an offer of admission.)
Note: An "unencumbered license" means neither the license, the licensee's practice, nor the license is associated with any type of restriction, encumbrance, or probationary limitations imposed by the applicable Board of Nursing or any judicial entity.
