Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing's financial aid program is designed to assist the qualified student in meeting educational expenses. Financial need is defined as the difference between the cost of the educational program and the amount of money the student and/or family can reasonably pay, as determined by the Department of Education calculations.

Financial Aid questions can be complex and certainly every student has a unique situation.  Therefore, every student admitted to the College will have a choice to learn about his or her Financial Aid options through:

  • an in-person, one-on-one meeting
  • a one-on-one meeting through Skype
  • through computer learning modules and college website presentations

A student's financial aid award will not be large enough to cover living expenses and school expenses. Therefore, students will need additional resources to support themselves and their education while enrolled in the College. Advance planning by the student is essential if financial needs are to be adequately met.

The Office of Financial Aid administers financial aid programs in accordance with policies and guidelines established by Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, the United States government and the State of Virginia to ensure that there is reasonable and equitable distribution of the funds available to students. The Office of Financial Aid also ensures that priority is given to those students with legitimate and demonstrated need.
