There are two different ways to access/login to Blackboard:

• Method A:  Web-based Access through Anthology Nexus Student “Portal”  (Brand new students should use this method.)

• Method B: Direct Access on the Web (And/Or Blackboard Mobile App)

Method A:  Web-based Access through Anthology Nexus Student “Portal”

1. Go to https://www.bsmcon.edu/index.php/quicklinks and click on the “Portal” link.
2. Log into Portal using your Anthology Nexus/Portal credentials.
3. Click on the “Blackboard SSO” menu item, and then the “Blackboard-SSO” link.  This will utilize integration between Anthology Nexus Portal and Blackboard to directly log you into Blackboard (no additional credentials needed).

 

Method B: Direct Access on the Web (And/Or Blackboard Mobile App)

1. Go directly to https://bsmhcollege.blackboard.com/ (or launch the Blackboard mobile app on your phone)

Your username is your Active Directory (aka "ADS") username.  New students are normally given this username during Campus Connections orientation or by email shortly before the start of their first semester.  If you are an existing student and you don't know your username - call the technology support line @ 888-510-8035 for help looking it up.

Your password is initially set by IT.  New students are normally given this password during Campus Connections orientation or by email shortly before the start of their first semester.  If you don't know your password, just follow the "Forgot Password?" link on the Blackboard sign-in page to reset it.
