The Job Search: Students

Many students decide to apply for a job in a Bon Secours hospital while enrolled. Employment is optional of course, but many students enjoy the chance to gain exposure to the healthcare workplace prior to graduating. If that’s the case for you, here is a guide to help simplify the job search with Bon Secours. There is no guarantee of employment, but our students are highly valued for their skills and work ethic.

The Guild Education benefit now allows nursing students to receive a tuition-free nursing education if the student works while they are enrolled and makes an early commitment to work as a RN for Bon Secours after graduation. Mock Interviews are available with Career Services upon request. To schedule a practice (mock) interview or to discuss interviewing strategies, please contact Allison Peterson at Allison_Peterson@bshsi.org.

University Relations, which is a part of the Bon Secours Talent Acquisition Department, offers live and virtual hiring events each semester. Keep an eye on your email and sign up for these opportunities to work for a high-quality hospital system that is value-driven and honors the dignity of every patient.
