As a single-purpose college, the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing’s sole focus is preparing the next generation of nurses. Education is our ministry, and it’s our mission to educate those who feel called to the nursing profession. We treat our students’ education holistically, focusing on compassion, quality, excellence, safety and service. Our teachings are rooted in evidence-based practice, and our nurses are always striving for the best ways to help those in need. At the heart of our philosophy is educating nurses to fulfill the mission of Bon Secours. Our nurses are their patients’ advocates, providing compassionate, competent care and creating an atmosphere of trust. We are there to assist, educate and care for those in need, helping them achieve wellness.

BSMCON is a family environment, and students are given personal attention. Our connection to Bon Secours facilities gives students unmatched clinical experiences and career opportunities. Our students achieve approximately 900 clinical hours by graduation, making them confident in their technical nursing skills and highly sought after by employers.

  • Almost 83 percent of our graduates go on to work in a Bon Secours hospital.
  • 99 percent of our students are employed at graduation.
  • 93.57 percent of our students passed the NCLEX-RN in 2021.
